Tesla Roadster Boasts Style And Power

May 5th, 2008

Tesla RoadsterThe Tesla Roadster is one of the more impressive supercars that we have seen in quite a long time. The design of the car is absolutely breathtaking – but don’t think that this takes away from the power. The roadster runs on exhaust free plug power and was built specifically to be a car full of power.

According to a Norwegian specialty car importer the Euro Tesla is supposed to have 300 horsepower with a 13,000 rpm redline. The roadster is most likely to come equipped with the drivetrain 1.5 – which is said to be available later in the production run for Tesla. The new and improved gearbox has removed a gear, will provide better cooling, and will have an upgraded power electronics module.

August 22nd, 2007

2007 BMW Z4 RoadsterWe’ve been talking so much about concepts that we’ve been neglecting the great cars that have already come out and have been adorning the streets with their high power and sophisticated glory. And what vehicle has more sophistication than the BMW, the Z4 Roadster to be exact.

The Z4 Series underwent its first major evolution for the 2007 model year. Heading its extensive list of updates and improvements are all-new, more powerful engines; 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions across the board; more powerful brakes, standard 17-in. wheels and tires now on both models, and a more advanced Dynamic Stability Control system. Along with all this driving-oriented progress, design and materials refinements inside and out enhance both esthetics and function.
