Sportec has released their newest package for the Porsche 911 GT2 that includes aerodynamic upgrades, a range of power mods, and suspension and chassis tuning.
The SP750 Porsche 997 GT2 performance pack lifts output to 750hp (560kW), resulting in a 0-100km/h (62mph) time of just 3.2 seconds and a top speed in excess of 350km/h (218mph). The engine conversion kits come in four different flavors, offering power upgrades ranging from 600hp (450kW) in the ‘Stage 1’ kit to the full-blown 750hp in the ‘Stage 4’ range topper.
For its most powerful upgrade, engineers reprogrammed the car’s ECU, added a pair of Sportec’s own turbochargers, new titanium connect-rods, sports camshafts, high flow exhaust kit, a sports air-filter and an upgraded clutch. Also added is a high-performance braking system with six-piston callipers and brake discs ranging from 350 to 380mm. A sports suspension kit is then fitted, including firmer springs and new shock absorbers.
