Rendering Of Camaro Z28

Written by tonks on October 10, 2008

When it comes to muscle cars we have seen many variations. Dodge has created three different Challenger models (R/T, SE, and SRT8) and the Ford Mustang has seen much more than this. Now we think that it might be time for the Camaro and we think that Chevy is thinking the same thing.

There is no official notice of this from Chevy yet so it isn’t confirmed. But that doesn’t stop many of us from dreaming about a new variation of the fifth-generation Camaro and it looks like other people agree with us.

Jinx is a designer on Camaro forums that has created renderings of what looks like a Camaro Z28. In his rendering the Camaro is equipped with a 6.2 liter supercharged LSA engine that could potentially produce 550 horsepower. In order to keep that engine covered there needs to be a sizeable budge to cover it.

The rendering also features a clear opening similar to the newest ZR1 and a carbon fiber splitter in the front. The lower air intake is large and feeds the intercooler and is flanked by functional brake cooling ducts.

Let’s hope that GM takes a look at this rendering and takes cues from it.
