In Essen we were able to catch a glimpse of the new PPI Design. They were able to remodel the latest version of the Audi supercar and create what they call the Razor GTR. The standard version of this latest supercar from PPI was debuted at the show last year and displayed its extra 40 horsepower, custom leather interior, 19” wheels, and full carbon fiber aero kit.

This new model now take the R8 to all new heights by adding even more power, better aerodynamics, and lessening the amount of weight. PPI has added on a new supercharger to the 4.2 liter V8 engine – which puts the amount to 580 horsepower and 443 pound-ft of torque. This allows the supercar to rev from 0 to 100km/h in 3.7 seconds. It also gives it a top speed of 206 mph.

The wide body kit has been designed and built out of carbon fiber and is able to feed cool air to the radiators and brakes. The engine cover is also built of lightweight material and been built with integrated ram air inlets. Because the body itself is wide it allows the rims and tires to be wide also. PPI has used MAG11 forged wheels that have been wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport 2 rubber.

The other performance upgrades that help to make it even more powerful include larger brakes, a KW coil over suspension, 15” discs with six piston calipers in the front, and 14” discs in the back. The interior is made out of carbon fiber along with custom leather seat and a PPI steering wheel.
