Peugeot RC Concept
Wednesday, August 20th, 2008
What you are looking at is the new Peugeot RC concept that will be revealed to the public during the Paris Motor Show in October. The RC shows off a new design for this range - which might be used on the new 607 and 407 production models in 2010 or 2011.
The shield of the four door, four-seater coupe’s grille is the focal point of the front superstructure and gives rise to strong design lines that run up the bonnet, over the roof and onto the boot-deck lid to give the RC a strong visual presence. The RC also showcases new green technology in the form of a hybrid drivetrain that is claimed to have a potential maximum power output of 313bhp and emissions of just 109g/km.
Peugeot has released no further details of the RC concept’s powertrain, but expect a full hybrid system that offers pure electric mode as well as combined petrol-electric propulsion.
