New Information Released For Nissan GT-R Spec V
Monday, July 28th, 2008
Road & Track were great enough to share the information they received on the new Nissan GT-R Spec V. The new car is boasted to improve on the hardware that was used in the current GT-R model.
Specs:
- 2 seats
- 440 pound-foot of torque from 3200-5200 rpm
- 520 horsepower at 6500 rpm
- $130,000 MSRP
So the car will lose its back seat and enough other stuff to shed 200 pounds, will get an extra 40 advertised horses, cost almost twice as much as the current model and lap the Nordschleife faster than a Porsche 997 GT2.
There are rumors that the debuts will be delayred until early in 2009. Many of us are going to be waiting in hopes of getting our hands on one.
