Hyundai And Rhys Millen Show Off Genesis Coupe
Wednesday, July 30th, 2008
The SEMA show in Las Vegas, Nevada is just around the corner - but some people just can’t wait that long to strut their stuff. Hyundai has already pulled the curtain off of the new Rhys Millen Racing Hyundai Genesis Coupe concept. Millen boasts that the new car is “one of the coolest cars at the show.”
The cars’s engine is the base turbo inline 2.0L four and plenty of modifications were done with the intention of showing tuners the coupe’s aftermarket possibilities. Hyundai hopes the modifications will turn the Genesis coupe into a race car ready to run in the Pikes Peak Hill Climb, Formula D, or Redline Time Attack series.
RMR has apparently stuffed the concept Genesis with too many upgrades to list, but a turbo kit, HKS sequential transmission, Brembo brakes and a K&W coil over suspension all help to amp up the car’s performance potential.
