Hilary Duff Gets Spoiled With New Mercedes G-Class

2007 Mercedes G-ClassHilary Duff may not have been able to buy her Porsche Cayenne Turbo(due to bad driving), but her boyfriend seems intent on at least buying her a car that is just as good. It may not be a Porsche, but when it comes to SUV’s Mercedes is the next best thing.

Hilary Duff got Mercedes-Benz G-class SUV as her 20th birthday present from her hockey player boyfriend, Mike Comrie. At the Chanel and P.S. Arts Party at Chanel in Beverly Hills Duff told People that she had unintentionally put the idea for a new car in her boyfriend’s head. “I was planning on getting a big car and I drive a big car anyway, and I was just like, ‘You know maybe I like the G-Wagon,’ and then I was like, ‘No, maybe I like the [Porsche] Cayenne,’ ” People quoted her, as saying.

The G-Class SUV is powered by a 292 horsepower, 5-liter, 24-valve, V8 engine and carries an MSRP of $84,475. The G55 features an AMG-built super-charged, 493 hp, 5.5 liter, 24-valve V8 engine and starts at $108,275. The G500 has an estimated fuel consumption of 13 city and 16 highway with the G55 getting 12/14. Both can tow a maximum load of 7,000 lbs.

So we say take good care of your new all-powerful SUV Hilary. We’re all wishing that we could have someone that nice to buy us a $100,000. Try not to crash it too soon!

I love the G, but you get this aweful feeling this girls going to be in serious trouble from hanging with this boyfriend. Can only hope its all staged for the publicity as they do it in show biz.

Those things are hideous, and so are Escalades for that matter. I’d take the Cayenne any day.
