Get Your Hands On The Exclusive Ferrari Scuderia Helmet

Ferrari Scuderia HelmetEnthusiasts of the Ferrari champion Michael Schumacher will be happy to know that they can wear the same Scuderia helmet that he does while racing on the big tracks. It might look like the same helmet and have the same name – but in truth it is really an ordinary helmet with the Ferrari logo on the front of it. Of course it does have a few features that you can’t find on every helmet.

You can purchase the helmet for the price of $3,432, exclusively at Ferrari’s online store. The Scuderia helmet is adapted from the Schuberth J1, the helmet Ferrari’s F1 mechanics wear. The helmet is made entirely from carbon fiber, so it only weights 1 kilogram, or just 2.2 pounds.

It also features a removable chin guard, so passengers can understand what you’re saying on less aggressive drives. To keep your eyes fresh, it comes with an internal, pull-down sun visor as well as a distortion, fog and scratch-free face shield. To keep things cool, the helmet is vented to allow better airflow. Feel free to roll down the windows, too, because on top of all that cooling, it boasts a very low noise rating of 92 dB at 100 kph (62 mph). Its even rated for motorcycle use anywhere except the US and Japan, although its not, unfortunately, rated for FIA GT racing.
