Edo Competition has produced the Lamborghini Murcielago LP710/2 – which has been equipped with a V12 6.5 liter engine that pushes out 710 horsepower. A brand new exhaust system as well as modified cylinder heads and custom camshafts allows the supercar to push down 516 pound-foot of torque.
Edo claims the LP710/2 can reach 62 mph in 3.2 seconds (0.2 seconds faster than a LP640) and a top end of 224 mph. Edo’s stripped the car of its all-wheel-drive system, sending all that power only to the rear wheels while saving 88 pounds of weight in the process.
In an attempt to channel that power, Edo’s fitted the car with 19-inch alloy wheels, Contintental V-max high-speed tires, and a new rear wing. The entire LP710/2 conversion runs $77,000, and that’s on top of the LP640′s $339,000 base price.
