Fast And The Furious: 350Z

Fast and the Furious Nissan 350Z“Drift King” (“D.K.” for short) isn’t exactly the coolest-sounding name for a movie villain especially one that is supposed to have yakuza ties. However, for some reason the powers-that-be at Universal decided to stick this moniker on The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift’s main bad guy.

Though saddled with the unfortunate nickname, the movie producers did their best to make this villain appear to be cool. Not only is “D.K.” the nephew of the Yakuza boss Sonny “Hattori Hanzo” Chiba, he gets to tool around Tokyo in this menacing-looking Nissan 350Z.

2006 Ascari KZ1

2006 Ascari KZ1Can the brand new race-bred Ascari KZ1, exotic supercar with 500 bhp V-8, make its mark among the likes of the Pagani Zonda and Lamborghini Murcielago? It has good looks, handling, exclusivity and plenty of power, but is that enough?

Ascari? ‘What’s that?’, you might ask. Well, of course, Alberto Ascari was a renowned Italian racing driver of the 1950s, but now it is the name of an exotic supercar with a top speed of 200 mph, thrilling acceleration, taking you to 100 mph in around 8.5 seconds, and race-developed structure and suspension to match. The Ascari KZ1 is definitely a most welcome addition to the exotic supercar ranks.

The car is still a bit of an enigma, but promises to be one of the world’s fastest cars once it gets into the hands of testers.
