Car And Driver Tests ‘Ring Time Of Corvette ZR1
October 14th, 2008
Car and Driver tested the brand new Chevy Corvette ZR1 and was able to record outstanding numbers. Naturally the ZR1 entered the ‘Ring to compete against the times set up by the Porsche GT2, Nissan GT-R, and Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR. The test results proved that the new Corvette was more then able to keep up with them and create their own impressive time.
Bugatti To Work With Bentley To Compete With Rolls-Royce
October 13th, 2008
Rumors are going around that Bugatti is contemplating borrowing from Bentley in order to produce a new sedan. What they will be borrowing is something that we can’t seem to figure out. Many are asking if it will compete against the Rolls-Royce Phantom.
Last month Bugatti hinted that its next product would be more expensive then the Veyron - which means that it will be equipped with enough power to make us all envious of it. The lead man on the project Josef Paefgen backed up this claim when he said that there would be no cheap Bugatti.
GM Denies ZR1 Cancellation Rumors
October 11th, 2008
It seems that rumors are something that we can’t escape. We have to sift through them and determine which ones are real, which ones could be real, and which ones are just downright outrageous. Sometimes not even we can control the rumors that fly around.
The newest rumor was concerning the Corvette ZR1. According to a user on DigitalCorvettes.com the production of the Corvette ZR1 has been stopped and GM was considering cancelling it altogether. This is a big, dramatic step for GM that in our opinion isn’t necessary.
Rendering Of Camaro Z28
October 10th, 2008
When it comes to muscle cars we have seen many variations. Dodge has created three different Challenger models (R/T, SE, and SRT8) and the Ford Mustang has seen much more than this. Now we think that it might be time for the Camaro and we think that Chevy is thinking the same thing.
There is no official notice of this from Chevy yet so it isn’t confirmed. But that doesn’t stop many of us from dreaming about a new variation of the fifth-generation Camaro and it looks like other people agree with us.
Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione On Sale In U.S.
October 7th, 2008
Fans of Alfa Romeo will be excited to learn that they will be returning to the United States some time in 2009 or 2010. However, you can start preordering your very own Alfa 8C Competizione this month through one of the designated Maserati dealers.
Well at least you will if someone decides to back out (we don’t even know if you can do that). All of the 8C models designated for the U.S. have been bought already. The 8C Spider open-air version won’t arrive until 2010.
