Saturn Removes The Title “Green Line”

June 11th, 2008

Saturn Hyrid LogoSaturn has taken down the name Green Line and switched it out with the title hybrid – which makes more sense because people might not relate the title ‘Green Line’ to a hybrid car. A Saturn spokesman – Mike Morrissey stated, “It was simply a practical matter. As we expand our hybrid lineup, the names were getting a bit long. It’s hard to write a short sentence about the Saturn Vue Green Line 2-Mode Hybrid.”

Just because the Green Line will be removed does not mean that the performance of the cars will change. Saturn’s Aura and Vue are currently the only two hybrid models that they have and that have been equipped with the ‘mild hybrid’ system.
