Porsche Boxster Limited Edition To Be Available In September
Some of the great cars that you were able to preview at the NY Auto Show in the Spring are making their ways to the dealerships. One in particular that we have been keeping our eye on and anticipating is the Porsche Boxster Limited Edition, which will be released September 28th.
‘06 Porsche Carrera GT
The 2006 Porsche Carrera GT was first introduced as a 2004 model. It is equipped with 600 horsepower, cutting edge technology, ceramic composite clutch, and and brakes underneath the carbon reinforced body.
The Porsche Carrera GT is a low, sleek, lightweight roadster that is as beautiful to the engineer as it is to the eye. Foul weather protection is also available in the form of two removable panels that can be stored in the front trunk. Among the car’s unique features are its 5.7-liter, 605-horsepower V10 engine, its monocoque chassis with Porsche-patented engine and transmission mounts made of carbon-reinforced plastic and the first use of a ceramic composite clutch in a production car.

Porsche Fails To Takeover Volkswagon
Luxury car maker Porsche AG said that its offer to buy the shares it does not already own in Volkswagen AG expired with less than 1 percent of the stock offered for sale by investors. Porsche was obliged under law to make an offer for the remainder of the company after raising its stake beyond 30 percent earlier this year. Porsche has maintained that it has no plans to acquire Europe’s biggest automaker outright.
Porsche 993 Turbo S
The limited run 993 Turbo S was Porsche’s final celebration of the legendary 911. No less than 450bhp is was produced from the Turbo’s flat 6 allowing the pocket rocket to dip under 4sec for the sprint to 60mph and on to a near 190mph maximum.
