25 Hertz Shelby GT-H Mustang Convertibles Going Up For Auction

25 of the Hertz Shelby Mustang GT-H Convertibles will be going up for auction and according to our sources they will be “one of a kind”. Many of us know that only 500 of these Mustangs were produced and we are asking ourselves whether or not they have gone up in value since they came out in 2007.
However, you will not be bidding the same $250,000 that collector Ron Pratte paid for serial #001. For reference, the last batch of rent-a-racers that were auctioned off managed about $33K per unit.
New Attack Mode KITT Mustang

NBC came out with the newest “Knight Rider” series and with it they introduced a brand new KITT in the form of a Mustang. Fans of the original show were shocked that they had replaced the Trans Am - but slowly fans grew to admire the newer model. However, there are still those who are not convinced.
Of course they just might change their minds when they see the new Attack Mode for KITT that was revealed at the Comic Con convention in San Diego. Sources confirm that KITT has had his wings sheared.
Saleen Releases Super Shaker System For Mustang Owners

Saleen has released a new product called the Super Shaker that combines together the shaker hood and a supercharger. The direct injector of cold air from outside of the engine bay has the ability to improve the horsepower as well as keeping the motor cool.
A variety of kits are available, including full systems as well as upgrade kits for both Saleen S281 Supercharged Mustangs and even the Parnelli Jones Mustang. Find ordering info on Saleen’s web site.
Roush Can Add 700 Horsepower With New Turbocharger

Roush Performance is now offering their brand new TVS2300 ROUSHcharger. This new engine has the ability to inject 700 horsepower in into the 2005-2009 mustangs. It will available to Mustang owners in several different packages.
This kit includes a cold air intake system, unique fuel rail with 52 lb.-hr. injectors, a dual 60 mm electronic throttle body, all hardware, brackets and instructions. The TVS2300 ROUSHcharger uses Eaton’s new Twin Vortices Series technology. The patented design on this supercharger system features a four-lobe rotor and high-flow inlet which greatly enhances thermal efficiency, higher volume capacity and higher operational speeds.
Saleen Celebrates 25 Years With SMS Anniversary Mustang Concept

Steve Saleen is someone who truly understands what consumers want and knows how to give it to them. He has been designing and building some of the best Mustangs for 25 years and because of his unique style he has never gone out of style. In fact he has built a legendary car line that will keep growing years into the future.
Last year we were sad to see him retire - but deep inside we knew that this retirement wouldn’t last very long and we were right. Steve has been working with Ford on the SMS Limited. This Mustang concept is the celebration of 25 hard working years and is the Anniversary edition. It will be the first vehicle that the company has actually built.
