Disguised Jaguar XF-R Mules Caught In Death Valley
These two cars are Jaguar XF-R mules that have been disguised as S-Types along with bulging fender flares and large wheels. A spy photographer was able to catch the two during their recent testing in Death Valley.
The FSD reports that their engines did not sound supercharged, a la the XK-R. Rather, they sounded like the naturally aspirated V8 from the Aston Martin Vantage. Though they’re not part of the same happy Ford family anymore, Jaguar could now buy engines from Aston Martin and not worry about stepping on the toes of its sister company.
Jaguar E2A Prototype To Be Auctioned For $7Mil
Paying $7 million for one car is a bit extreme to most of us. However, some people are willing to pay that amount for a one of a kind racing prototype Jaguar E2A that is being auctioned off in Monterey this August.
. Undoubtedly the car’s biggest draw is its link between the legendary D-Type race cars that won Le Mans three times and the E-Type production cars. It was also driven competitively by Dan Gurney, Walt Hanseg, Jack Brabham, and Bruce McLaren. While we don’t know if this will be enough to demand $7 million – but we are sure to find someone who will pay that much.
Jaguar C-XF Concept
Jaguar is revolutionizing thier sedans like never before. They are pulling their desgins out of the rut and placing a new spin on the X-type like they have never don before. The concept will be dubbed the C-XF.
Interiors will use wood as both a structural and a decorative element. Jaguar cabins will be styled so as to emphasize their width, and technology will be discreet. The RD-6 and R-coupe concepts, as well as the new XK, follow this philosophy, but the C-XF is the first Jaguar sedan to do so.
2007 Jag XKR Convertible
Everyone was pleased with the Jaguar XKR, which was first introduced in 2005. Two years later Jaguar has improved the XKR and has transformed it into a convertible. They took a great sports car and created a new and better one for people of every age to enjoy.
Like the normally aspirated XK model, the new Jaguar XKR Convertible makes intelligent use of practical, modern technology such as its industry-leading aluminium monocoque body structure. In addition, an uprated 420 bhp supercharged V8 engine and class-leading calibration of its state-of-the-art, six-speed automatic transmission bring it a level of accessible, real-world performance that makes the XKR Convertible the most impressive, everyday, sporting convertible.
