Jaguar Commemorates 60 Years Of The XK With The New XK60

The original XK60 was first introduced during the 1948 London Motor Show and it immediately became a hit thanks to its sleek design. Beneath the hood it housed a 3.4 liter straight six that could push out 160 horsepower. During this time period that was real power and people were impressed by it.
It’s 120 mph top speed made it the world’s fastest production car at the time and over the years, other XK’s followed the original’s footsteps - the XK140 in 1955 and the XK150 in 1958 - both named for their top speed capabilities. Then there’s the XKSS, the road-going version of the D-Type race car of which only sixteen were produced.
Jaguar XF-R Caught At Goodwood Festival Of Speed

We’ve been craving for more pictures of the Jaguar XF-R. Sure we have been given a few spy shots - but we have been looking to get a much better look at it and to see exactly what it is made of. Our chance finally came during the Goodwood Festival of Speed. There’s no mistaking the car is Jaguar thanks to the painting on its side.
Jaguar Looking To Hire A Few Good People

Those of you who have always dreamt of working for one of the biggest British automakers owned by Tata – Jaguar/Land Rover may get the opportunity. But you better do it quickly because you can bet that these spots will fill up fast.
Tata is looking for 600 people to fill positions all around their company. They are looking for young engineers (preferably just out of college) and a few people to work in HR, purchasing, and financing.
2008 Goodwood Festival Of Speed

The Goodwood Festival of Speed will be hosted in only four weeks from July 11 – 13. This event is one of the best times to see some of the best and latest supercars that are all around the world. At the event will be the Sunday Times Supercar Run – which provides a unique way to show people new models in action for the very first time.
Jaguar And Land Rover Have Been Sold

Ford has finalized the sale of Land Rover and Jaguar. They released a statement stating that the deal was done and that they wished them and the people who work for them all the best.
As for the two companies they don’t seem to have changed much. They seem to be going on with the usual business. Tata Motors, has named former CFO David Smith the new CEO for Jaguar and Land Rover.
