Audi Launches Q7 V12 TDI
September 16th, 2008
Audi will be launching the Q7 V12 TDI and we are still upset from the fact that we will not get chance to drive it and own it over here in the U.S. That doesn’t make it unless interesting to look at and find information on. As most people we are curious about any new car that is being released; good or bad.
Smaller Convertible Maserati Gran Turismo On The Way
September 11th, 2008
New rumors state that Maserati is working in creating a hard-top convertible. We do know that they are in the middle of developing a convertible version of the larger Grantors - but these new reports suggest that the car - that was caught on tape - is smaller then what was previously thought.
The new model is supposedly going to be available only in the hard-top convertible form. If this is true then it’s safe to say it will come with a fast-action retractable roof that is lighter than the usual soft-top mechanism.
2010 Audi A7
August 29th, 2008
New details are being released for the new Audi A7. The new ‘four-door coupe’ is being designed to compete against the Mercedes-Benz CLS and BMW’s Gran Turismo.
The A7 could appear as soon as next year, as a 2010 model, built on the architecture of the Audi A5. The A7 is, in effect, a four-door coupe version of the next A6. At the top of the lineup will be a 600-hp, twin-turbo V-10 version likely to be dubbed the RS 7.
BMW Puts A Stop To Production Of E92 M3 CSL
August 28th, 2008
We were disappointed to discover that BMW will not be delaying the production of the E92 M3 CSL - but will in fact be canceling it all together. We were expecting to see the final products of the car arrive in the summer of 2009. BMW had us all excited with talks of it being sharper and more light-weight when compared to the E92 M3 version.
It was also supposed to receive an upgrade in power between 450bhp and 470 bhp with a corresponding drop in weight, down by 100kg thanks to wider use of flyweight materials. Cup tires, new engine breathing and a carbonfibre airbox were due to complete the makeover.
Lexus Reveals LS460 To Moscow
August 26th, 2008
Lexus revealed the new LS460 AWD at the 2008 Moscow Motor Show and we are more quite impressed with what we see. It is unusual for Lexus to be displaying the new sedan in Moscow due to the fact that they are not fond of the larger vehicles.
However, Lexus is hoping to change their minds and welcome it with open arms. Lexus have used the same four-wheel-drive system that they use in their LS600h, along with the eight-speed automatic transmission as well. The engine used will be the 4.6-liter V8, which is used in the standard model. This will produce 381 hp.
