2010 Chevy Camaro Won’t Be Given Navigation System Till Late 2009

July 30th, 2008

2010 CamaroThe new 2010 Camaro is going to receive many features. One of the most coveted new feature in any new car is the navigation system -which is great for those who have problems finding their way around any city. However, GM has chosen not to add this feature to the first of the Camaros.

Instead, GM will use its Turn-by-Turn directions, which are downloaded to the car via OnStar and are part of a monthly package owners must pay for. GM won’t be adding the usual navigation system until December of 2009. The Camaro will go on sale earlier that same year.

British artist - Ian Cook decided to take a different route when it came to painting one of the best muscle cars on the market - the Camaro. He used remote control cars, drove them through choice paint colors, and then proceeded to use them as his paintbrush to create a work of art.

Ian’s artwork was named the “Popbank Color” and was displayed at the British International Motor Show. This is truly an honor for Ian who said that he even used a few GM RC cars to create the painting.

2010 Chevy Camaro Is Official Vehicle For SEMA Auto Show

June 19th, 2008

2010 CamaroThe release of the 2010 Camaro is just around the corner and because of that we can expect to see a good amount of them in November at the 2008 SEMA Autho Show in Las Vegas. The 2010 Camaro was given the title of Official Vehicle of the show and GM will take advantage of this accomplishment.

The automaker is currently accepting proposals for project vehicles, and we’re betting that everyone is scrambling to get their hands on a 2010 Camaro. With its LS-based V8 and retrotastic design, it won’t take long for a plethora of aftermarket parts to become available. The real question left to answer is when will GM debut the production version of the Camaro? It clearly has to happen at or before the SEMA Show in November.
