Cadillac To Downsize Engines For Customers
July 30th, 2008
Thomas G. Stephens - GM Exec VP - stated that they will be stated this week that Cadillac will be downsizing their engines in the luxury department. According to the Auto Observer they are talking about letting go of a 4-cylinder turbocharged engine (similar to the turbo Ecotec) that is used in the Cadillac CTS.
They are also thinking about trading cylinder count and displacement for turbo charging as well as direct injection. Said Stephens, “We’re ready. When (customers) want it - we’ll do it.” While the idea of a four-banger CTS Wagon is pretty alluring, we see a problem with their strategy.
1984 Cadillac Pimped Out With Zebra Interior
July 30th, 2008
We love it when we get a chance to see cars that have been artfully and personally designed to show their personality. It makes you wonder who they were exactly and what possessed them to change the design so drastically.
The exterior of the car is not much to look like and speaks of its years. Yet, the interior of this 1984 Cadillac has been covered in purple velvet and zebra skin. Honestly why don’t know how anyone would be able to pay attention to the road while sitting in this car. Maybe that’s why it is being auctioned off at Ebay Motors. Those interested can purchase this pimped out ride for the Buy It Now price of $4,200.

UK To Lose Out On Cadillac CTS-V
July 12th, 2008
The UK is anticipating the arrival of the Cadillac CTS - which will be heading their way come September. However, when it comes to the CTS-V the UK will have to do without. Cadillac feels that the V8 car will not be able to make its mark in the UK as it would in other places.
As far as prices go the ‘entry-level’ 2.8-litre V6 version of the CTS is £26,995, while the bigger 3.6-litre V6 starts at £32,995. This is a reasonable price for a car that offers much the same features and luxuries that the BMW 5-Series offers. It is almost the same size as the 5-Series and comes equipped with saellite navigation, DVD player, internal hard drive, and television tuner.

June 18th, 2008
The 2009 Cadillac CTS-V was spotted running laps around Milford. A video was taken of the new car and with a commentary from the driver to let us know what he thinks and what he is doing.
As you can see from the video the sedan is being driven at alarming speeds that many of us wouldn’t dare try on the streets. Underneath the hood is a 556 horsepower supercharged 6.2 liter LS9 that came from the LSA V8.
