Spy Shots Caught Of Next-Generation BMW Z4
Spy photographers caught the next-generation BMW Z4 caught on the roads in southern California. Heavy camoflauge keeps us from getting a really good look at the bodywork and design used on the new Z4.
While we do not have any specific specs we assume that it will be powered by the same power train line-up that is used on the 3-series. Judging from the size of the rear window, the Z4 will probably pick up a retractable hard top as well.
We Could See A New M3 CSL
There are reports that BMW will be offering their very first M3 CSL since 2004. The M3 CSL is a lightweight high performance car that has a unique track record of saving 100 kilograms over the stock M3. This is possible with the use of carbon fiber and carbon fiber reinforced plastic.
The new CSL will be getting new suspension, better tires, and few engine upgrades that could raise the horsepower by 50. This increase could enable it to rev from 0 to 62 mph close to 4.5 seconds.
BMW Reveals New Le Mans Racer – E92 M3
Since 2002 BMW has backed out of the American Le Mans due to the restrictions that were put in place by ALMS. They felt at the time that it was not worth their time, energy, and money to produce a brand new car that will meet their requirements. Six years later they have returned and are ready to prove themselves victorious once more.
Hamann To Release Tuning Kits For BMW 6-Series
Hamann has announced the new line of products for the BMW 6-series with two different styles of aerodynamics packages. These packages include a basic kit and a race edition version.
As always, a variety of wheel options are available in 20 and 21 inch sizes. Performance upgrades are also available, including engine tuning for the 630i, 650i and 635d, a sport exhaust system, an adjustable coilover suspension system, and a sport brake system.Check out the press release below for more info.
BMW And Fiat To Bring Back Alfa Romeo To The U.S.
BMW and Fiat will be working hand in hand on a brand new front wheel drive small car platform – but that is not the only work they have on their agenda. They are also planning on returning Alfa Romeo back to the U.S. in 2010 by introducing a new model that has been given the code name “project 940”.
