Bentley Voted No To Future Diesel Models
August 25th, 2008
Bentley stated this week that there is a high chance they will not be producing any diesel models in the near future. This decision comes despite the fact that many of their toughest competitors will be doing just this.
Bentley has actually been conducting surveys among many of their customers and buyers and have asked them whether or not they would consider buying one of these models. The majority of them told Bentley that they were not interested in the prospect of owning a diesel model.

View Bentley Continental Flying Spur At British International Motor Show
July 8th, 2008
Bentley officially announced the Continental Flying Spur in June and now everyone is dying to get a peek at it. It’s because it has the ability to push out 600 horsepower and go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. Auto enthusiasts will get their chance to get a good look at it during the British International Motor Show.
In a mere 15 days, the special brightwork, rifled exhaust tips, and smooth as glass paint will be littered with fingerprints once the show opens to the public July 23rd at the ExCel London.
Bentley Has Ideas For 2010 Arnage
June 17th, 2008
Bentley has finally found the answer it was looking for when trying to find a new Arnage. Arnage is one of its largest and long-lived saloon that sells 600-800 units a year. It will be replaced with a brand new design in two years.
The 2010 model will be more than just a modified version of the Continental Flying Spur. The Arnage and all future Bentleys will use a version of Audi’s spaceframe chassis, Autocar has learnt from an Audi source in Germany. Despite the radical engineering, which should remove around 150kg from the weight of the bodyshell alone, Bentley chairman Franz-Josef Paefgen emphasised that the new Arnage will continue to have the unique proportions of the current model, particularly the traditional high roof and seating position, that give the car its “soul”.
Bentley Launches New Continental Flying Spur Speed In Boston
June 9th, 2008
Bentley will be revealing the $200,000 Continental Flying Spur Speed sedan this week in Boston, Mass. We find this a bit odd because no automaker has ever chosen this city for a worldwide product launch.
Bentley usually chooses to release their cars in Geneva and Paris. But the legendary British automaker chose Boston this time because Bentley plans to move its North American headquarters here from Detroit this fall. “We really wanted to use our new location as a showcase for the brand,” company spokesman David Reuter said.
