The new model is quipped with a petrol engine and is also a hybrid. Reports say that we should start to see models rolling out in three years and they will be offering it in the coupe and roadster designs. The price tag will be somewhere in the ballpark of £50,000.

At first glance you will admire the beauty and the size. It is 4.06m in length, 1.81m wide, and 1.11m tall. This makes it shorter and a great deal lower than the Porsche Boxster. The exterior is made with carbon fiber that helps to give it defined details.

The question that everyone wants to know is, “Where is the plug-in?” For a hybrid such as this they could not make something that would deter from the sophisticated look. That is why Audi was able to place the plug in behind the four ringed badge that is located on the bonnet. You only need to touch a simple button and it will reveal itself to you.

The interior is as sleek as the exterior. It is made with leather, carbon fiber, and aluminum. It has all of the right amenities with an added bonus of electric seat adjustments. Under the hood is a 3.0 liter twin turbo V6 diesel engine. When you combine this with the electric engine the car can reach a torque of 1,200Nm and a total output of 382bhp. Audi believes that with this power it can reach 0-62mph in only 4.4 seconds. We look forward to seeing her in action when she is completely finished!

The R8 V10 will become the street version of the R8 LMS – which debuted a few weeks ago during the Essen Motor Show in Germany. It is equipped with a 5.2 liter V10 engine that can produce 525 horsepower and 390.91 pound-ft of torque. These numbers are impressive – but they are still lower when compared to the Gallardo LP560-4.

The U.S. version of this supercar will stay close to these numbers. This will help it to hit 0-62 mph in under four seconds. On the downside it will still be using the 6-speed R-tronic as an alternative to its usual proper manual gearbox. The R8 V10 will now be closer to the 200 mph mark with a terminal velocity of 196 mph.

Other features that it will be given will be a new set of LED headlights for the low and high beams as well as the scoops on the side blades that now bulge out to suck in the extra air that is needed to cool and feed the larger engine. A brand new diffuser will help to keep the back end planted where a set of twin oval tailpipes will replace the quad exhausts on the standard model.

The Audi R8 V10 will be available in Germany next spring with a base price of EUR 142,400. It’s official debut will be in January of next year at the Detroit Auto Show.

Audi has stated that they have no plans to pull out. In fact they already know exactly what will be at the heart of the show – the 2010 Audi R8 V10. We have it on good authority that Audi will in fact be bringing this supercar to Detroit.

The 2010 Audi R8 V10 is equipped with a 5.2 liter V10 engine that can produce 520 horsepower and 398 pound-ft of torque. It has a few obvious performance and aural differences. You can expect to see brand new wheels upgraded brakes, and a few differences in the interior.

The Audi R8 Spyder will be released to the European market in late 2009 and in the U.S. in 2011. The launch has been delayed in the U.S. because dealers “have their hands full allocating coupes.”

Underneath the slim hood of the Q7 the engine (hint: look at the name) is able to push out 500 horsepower and 758 pound-ft of torque. This is actually standard on most of Audi’s diesel cars. LED running lamps help light the way, and the interior full of everything leather, TV screens (which will come in handy on those long trips with your bored kids), and Alcantara. The whole thing is trimmed in aluminum and carbon fiber.

As we said before, it is sad and disappointing to know that we will never get our chance at driving this elegant car. We do have pictures and for now that will have to do. Maybe we’ll get lucky and Audi will branch the Q7 into our shores.

The A7 could appear as soon as next year, as a 2010 model, built on the architecture of the Audi A5. The A7 is, in effect, a four-door coupe version of the next A6. At the top of the lineup will be a 600-hp, twin-turbo V-10 version likely to be dubbed the RS 7.

The buzz is that a cabriolet will be added in early 2011. The four-door coupe craze that began with the CLS in 2004, is burgeoning with other entries planned, including the Porsche Panamera, Volkswagen Passat CC, and Aston Martin Rapide.

It should be able to push out 500 horsepower – which will give it the ability to go up against the Jaguar XKR GT3 and the Aston Martin DBRS9 during the 2009 European racing season. At least that is what we are being told. We hope this is true so that we can see this car in real action. However, the ones sold to the public will naturally be powerful – but of course street legal.

Audi factory driver Frank Biela has already been putting the R8 GT3 through its paces. The cars are scheduled to enter production at Hungary’s Györ plant, with expected delivery to customers starting some time next year. At this time we do not have a set price.

Audi is already bragging that the A6 will be a great improvement over the previous version and will be able to improve the suspension and offer better handling. They are hoping that it will be great competition against the BMW 5-Series.

There is also a new big change to the engine line-up. Which boasts a range-topping direct-injection 3.0-litre supercharged V6 petrol unit, producing 285bhp. And a new 2.0-litre TDI ‘e’ diesel unit unit, which returns 53.3mpg and emits only 139g/km of CO2. The firm also revealed a saloon version of the RS6 which will use a 572bhp 5.0-litre twin-turbo V10 engine.

The driver was reportedly speeding – 80 mph according to police in a 50 zone when he hit a bump, lost control and skidded into a dyke. Although local law enforcement authorities are reportedly investigating the incident, nobody was hurt. The same cannot be said, sadly, for the car, which is reportedly in a repair shop where the dealer’s insurance company will surely declare it a write-off.

This allows for a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder-style folding roof, with small rear fabric buttresses.The buttresses are partially disguised by the fake sloping rear screen. Beneath this, and on the production cars, you’ll find a glass cover showing the engine in all its glory. Expect most R8 Spider owners to tick the options box for the LED engine bay lighting.

An R8 currently costs £78,300 in UK money, so expect to cough up at least £85k for an Spider version. Add another £7k if you want an R-tronic gearbox and at least ten grand more for the V10 version. That car will appear later this year, while the Spider is expected in mid-2009, with a debut at either the Geneva or Frankfurt motor show.

The Audi RS4 will use the 4.2-liter FSI V8. This powerful engine will also be mated to the RS5. The 4.2-liter FSI V8 will feature Audi’s Valvelift system and to produce close to 450 bhp. Right now both of these cars are testing in Germany and the U.S..
