BMW Gives M6 New Competition Package

BMW M6It looks as if some people do not feel that the M6 has enough power underneath its hood. Because of that the M division is being given a little help from the new Competition Package.

It will be getting a brand new active suspension with a ride height that has been lowered by up to 10mm in the back and 12mm in the front. It has also been equipped with a new front hood and new wheels.

BMW Decides Fate Of M Division

BMW M1 ConceptLudwig Willisch – the CEO of BMW M GmbH – gave us some information of what will happen to BMW’s M division during an interview with Auto-Motor-und-Sport. The information he provided had some positives and a few negatives that not everyone will enjoy.

When it comes to the positives – Willish mentioned that future M-models will include high-revving turbocharged engines, and offer ceramic brakes. The bad news is that there will be no E91 M3 Touring, E92 M3 CSL, or M1 Concept.

2009 M3 Gets Makeover

BMW M3The BMW M3 has been given an early remodeling. For the 2009 model year the M3 had been given revised taillights – which were the same that were debuted on the original 328i and 335i.

It will also be offered in a brand new color that has been called Le Mans Blue and will be equipped with the new iDrive controller. These features are only available on select models.

AC Schnitzer Creates Aero Package For BMW X6

AC Schnitzer BMW X6AC Schnitzer has released a new aero package for BMW’s X6 – which is mainly for anyone looking to cosmetically change the look of the car. This package is good for those who are looking to make their complete look more professional.

The package is made up of integrated diagonal vents, a new front bumper, new rear bumper, fog lights, integrated tailpipe enclosure, and three spoke steering wheel.

IED Students Design BMW 2015 Concepts

BMW IED ConceptBMW will not be making and dramatic new designs for their line-up for quite a few years – but that doesn’t stop the students from the Turin-based IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) from making their own changes. Third year students from IED were asked to give their interpretation of what they think BMW’s lineup will look like in 2015.
