BMW 335dSpies managed to catch pictures of the 2009 BMW 335d testing in Death Valley, California. It had surprisingly little to no camouflage giving us a great view of what the exterior of the car looks like.

The 335d was first announced during the 2008 Detroit Auto Show. It is a diesel variant of the BMW 3-Series that is equipped with a 3.0 liter twin turbo inline-6 engine. It has the ability to push out 265 horsepower and 425 pound-feet of torque at 1,750 rpm.

The 335d will sport mildly revised bodywork to go along with its oil-burning engine. The body refresh will occur across the entire 3 Series line, with all 2009 3 Series models expected to receive revised front and rear fascias and modestly upgraded interiors.
