Bentley HunaudièresWe all know that Bentleys are pretty awesome vehicles and there are many people who put lots of money down just to purchase one. Wealthy people from Moscow are those people who are dishing out and paying big bucks for Bentleys and their fellow citizens are taking notice and deciding that they make great targets for obtaining priceless vehicles for free!

Two stolen in the Russian capital this week brings the total this year to seven. Only one is known to have been recovered. The most recent Bentley was stolen from a an unemployed woman in Moscow. Her blue Bentley Continental, parked near her apartment building, was stolen between 9 p.m. August 16 and 5 a.m. August 17. the owner valued the vehicle at 340,000 U.S. dollars. It was the third theft of a luxury car in Moscow this week.

The market for imported luxury cars in Russia is becoming more and more popular along with the country’s oil-fed economy, even though prices are considerably higher than in Europe because of steep customs duties.
