Audi Takes Home Win At LeMans

The theme for the 2008 24 Hours of LeMans was Audi vs. Peugeot. These two teams are some of the best and were rarely separated by more than a lap and were able to hold the top positions for the whole race. It was in the end that Dindo Capello, Tom Kristensen, and Allan McNish drove their Audi R10 to win the race four minutes in front of the nearest Peugeot.
This result gives Audi’s R10 and undefeated record and a hat-trick at the 24. After the race, Capello said The only possibility for us to beat the faster Peugeots was a race without mistakes.
