Many auto enthusiasts have been attracting a lot of attention when it comes to Nissan’s GT-R and GM’s Corvette ZR1. This is mainly because of the lap times that they have been boasting about on the Nurburgring track. They have displayed some impressive numbers and Audi is hoping to knock both of those numbers off the board.
Audi will be launching the V10 version of the R8 soon and they are hoping to use their new supercar to beat out 7:26. Exact specs of the new range-topping R8 are unknown, but it should deliver around 535 horsepower and is expected to debut at the Paris Motor Show in October.
With Nissan aiming for a sub-7:25 lap time with its Spec-V GT-R, it will be interesting to see if the Audi will manage to come out on top.
