It has been awhile since we have seen pictures and been given important information on the new Aston Martin One-77. Two more pictures have been revealed giving us a better look at what is to come and details concerning the price and specifications have been released.
We were told that the One-77 would be powered by a 7.0 liter – but we have just learned that it will instead be using a naturally aspirated V12 7.3 liter engine. This new engine enables the new supercar to push out 700 horsepower a 553 pound-foot of torque. The power will be pushed through a mid-mounted, rear six-speed automated manual transmission that is equipped with Select Shift Manual and Auto Shift Manual and will also be controlled by an electro-hydraulic system.
The coupe is available in right hand and left hand drive. However, the seating will only allow two people. The body panels on the exterior of the car is handcrafted aluminum and will be fashioned from carbon fiver. Also a part of the package is an adaptive suspension, deployable rear spoiler, carbon ceramic brakes, and stability traction control. The weight of the car is said to reach 3,300 pounds.
The price tag for the One-77 is a steep £1,050,000. This does not include VAT and taxes that will increase the price. Unfortunately Aston Martin does not have plans to show off the supercar during this weeks Paris Motor Show. We are hoping they will give us a better look at it before they put it on sale during the end of 2009.
