Arash Reveals AF10 Supercar

Written by tonks on October 16, 2008

In Europe they have many thriving supercar automakers who have and are still making their marks on the world. Most of these supercars include; Ultima, Noble, Ascari, Farbio, Farboud, and Arash. Surprisingly enough these are only a few of the big names. We don’t have time to provide the names of them all.

When Farboud was sold the new owners of the company changed the names to Farbio and the founder of Arash Farboud began a new line using his first name. His latest creation is the Arash AF10. The carbon-fiber body of the AF10 is similar to that of the Ferrari Enzo and is laid on top of the carbon fiber chassis to enhance a sprightly low curb weight of 2,600 pounds.

Underneath the hood is a V8 7-liter engine that comes straight from the Corvette Z06 and is tuned from the stock 498 horsepower up to a whopping 530. The new supercar is rumored to sell for 170k pounds sterling – which is just shy of the cost for a Lamborghini Murcielago. It is scheduled to go on sale sometime during next year.
