Mercedes announced that the UK deliveries for the GLK will begin later in October. The 2010 Mercedes GLK will be available in four trim levels that include; two petrol versions and two diesel versions.
Pricing for the GLK220 CDI 4MATIC BlueEFFICIENCY starts at â‚¬33,900 ($53,929 USD) while the GLK 320 CDI 4MATIC starts at â‚¬38,700 ($61,565 USD). The petrol variants include the GLK 289 4MATIC which will start at â‚¬36,600 ($52,225 USD) and the GLK 350 4MATIC which will go for â‚¬38,700 ($61,556 USD).
The U.S. will only get one variant of the 2010 GLK when it hits dealers in 2009. Power comes from a 3.5L V6 engine that produces 268-hp, giving it the ability to do 0-60 in 6.5 seconds. Mercedes-Benz says it will return a fuel-economy of 23mpg on the highway. The most fuel-efficient model in the GLK lineup is the BlueEFFICIENCY 220 CDI which produces 170-hp and returns a combined fuel-economy of 34mpg.
