2010 Chevy Camaro To Be Auctioned Off

Written by tonks on October 22, 2008

The 2010 Chevy Camaro is still months away from its production date. But until that time comes Chevy has decided to win over some loving fans by auctioning it off. Chrysler and Ford have already auctioned off the brand new Challenger and Mustang – which brought in hundreds and possibly even thousands of dollars to a charity in need.

Now GM and the College of Creative Studies is hoping that they will have the same benefit. Anyone can go on eBay for the number three production Camaro. It is an SS model that is fully loaded and equipped with a 6.2 liter V8 engine that pushes out 422 horsepower and is mated to a six speed manual tranny.

The person to win the bid will take delivery of the Camaro at Suburban Chevrolet Cadillas Saab Hummer in Ann Arbor, MI in the Spring of 2009. Of course the delivery could be delayed. The auction ends October 25th and the price is already over $40,000.
