2009 Porsche 911The Porsche Cayenne has offered satellite radio since 2005 – but for some reason the Porsche 911 has never been given this feature much to the dismay of many customers. Porsche has finally realized how popular the feature has become and has added it to the list of things to give the new model along with direct-injection and a brand new seven speed dual clutch transmission.

The XM Satellite Radio will offer 170 channels of sports, music, news, entertainment, and talk stations. The service will also include XM NavTraffic. This traffic service gives drivers up to date traffic information as well as incident information.

Any customer who purchases the new Porsche will be given a three month subscription of XM Radio and XM NavTraffic.
