2008 ‘Caramel By The Sea’ Concours Was Successful
Wednesday, August 13th, 2008
This is only the second year that the ‘Carmel by the Sea’ Concours has been hosted and already it has been a great success. This year over 130 cars were lined up on both days of the event that started the Pebble Beach week.
On Monday all Ferraris and Porsches were given their own space to show off their goods and for people to discover the history of each company. Four devoted classes to 356s included almost every variant the factory sold.
The second day brought out more American cars, but still had plenty from Germany and Britain. These included a factory ‘works’ Lola Mark II, Radford Bentley and a black Cobra 427 S/C.
